Shaun Sims, President

Shaun graduated with a BA in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin. While attending, he took several online classes to accomodate his busy work schedule during the summers. Like most students who take online courses, Shaun enjoyed the flexibility, convenience and value they offered. It was here where he first noticed that some of his classmates were taking shortcuts. That's when Shaun decided to do something to cut back on cheating. In 2009, he and computer science student Andrew Mills launched the company.

Dr. Andrew Mills, CTO

Andrew graduated with a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Physics from Caltech. While Andrew attended Caltech, he noticed two types of students that would cheat. The first cheated their way to go from failing to a "D", and while this cheating bugged him a little bit, it did not eat him up inside. However, it did eat him up inside when a second type of student would cheat to go from an "A-" to an "A+", and in the process, would destroy the grading curve for everyone else. As a ten-time Teaching Assistant veteran, he is convinced of the value Digital Proctor is creating.
